Configure Preboot Execution Environment
We need to first of all configure our DHCP server on the domain controller
Create a new scope
Create a range of IPs that are free
Add the IP 192.168.2.2 as our default gateway
We should have our DNS as 192.168.2.3
Now we need to enable PXE boot on our SCCM Server by going to Server and Site System Roles under Site Configuration, go to the properties of our distribution point.
Enable PXE support for clients under the PXE tab and click yes.
Make sure to enable allow this distribution point to respond to incoming PXE requests and enable unknown computer support – This will now install the Windows Deployment Services, this can take a few minutes.
You can now use F12 when the virtual machine starts up to create custom boot images.
